Payroll Tax and Social Security Specialist (m/f) – Paço de Arcos


Our client is the world’s largest private jet company, looking for a Payroll Tax and Social Security Specialist (m/f), to complement their team.


As a Payroll Tax and Social Security Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Ensure compliance with yearly Social Security for all countries, as per the year calendar provided by local providers;

• Act as the single point of contact for HR Services and HR Business Partners for employee payroll-related queries and manage pending matters with local providers;

• Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective operational management of payroll providers;

• Suggest and implement improvement measures, to optimize efficiency and contribute to excellent service to our employees;

• Advise the company on how their mobile employees are taxed;

• Build and maintain positive relationships with tax authorities;

• Advise and perform detailed level analysis for special employee tax scenarios related to relocation, global mobility, pension, and benefit providers;

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax issues and document benefits and treatment of different countries/ situations regarding Social Security, liaising with Tax team (Finance);

• Responsible for payroll tax registrations for new companies in Europe.


• University degree in Management, Economics, or Law;

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in tax advisory, with an expertise in dealing with personal income taxes and social security;

• Good knowledge of Tax and Social Security regulations;

• Knowledge of EU social security regulations is an advantage;

• Fluency in Business English (written and spoken);

• Proficiency in MS Office.
