Our client, leader in the pharmaceutical sector with multinational presence is looking for a responsible for effective delivery of laboratory services and maintaining QA/QC compliance with applicable regulations (CUA and CAP), as well as the oversight of testing personnel.


• Verify the test procedures performed and establish the laboratory’s test performance characteristics, including the precision and accuracy of each test and test system

• Enrollment and participation in an HHS approved proficiency testing (PT) program to commensurate with the services offered

• Ensure that:

o PT samples are tested in accordance with the CLIA requirements

o PT results are returned within the time frames established by the PT program

o PT reports are reviewed by the appropriate staff

o Corrective action plans are followed when PT results are found to be unacceptable or unsatisfactory

• Establish a quality control program appropriate for the tests performed, and establish the parameters for acceptable levels of analytic performance

• Ensurer that acceptable levels of analytic performance are maintained throughout the entire testing process from the initial receipt of the specimen, through sample analysis and reporting of test results

• Resolve technical problems and ensuring that remedial actions are taken whenever test systems deviate from the laboratory’s established performance specifications

• Ensure that test results are not reported until all corrective actions have been taken and the test system is functioning properly

• Identify training needs and assure that each individual performing tests, receives regular in-service training and education appropriate for the type and complexity of the laboratory services performed

• Evaluate the competency of all testing personnel and assuring that the staff maintain their competency to perform test procedures and report test results promptly, accurately, and proficiently

Assist in the development of an aooroved procedure manual for all personnel


• Bachelor’s degree in a science or health-related field (chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology)

• Two+ years’ experience of nonwaived testing in the specialties of clinical chemistry and immunology

• Experience in quality management in a high complexity clinical laboratory

• 2+ years of supervisory experience, including laboratory personnel and equipment

High level of English required.
